This was perfect! Everypony she had singled out was now on stage, and there were plenty more within the crowd that she could enlist. Her violet wings unfurled as she skittered about the platform, anxious to begin the next phase in her performance. Although with such a diverse selection of ponies as her entourage, it was almost impossible to tell where her thought process was taking her. So many roles... As the cloaked woodspony hoisted one of her participants into the spotlight, the pegasus simply could not resist a grin. Now she could see him properly, perhaps he could be of use as well - after all, the colts in her audience would need somepony too!
"Hey there," she called, nonchalantly waving a hoof towards him, "how about you join in too, huh? Since you're already up here~!" Without waiting for an answer, the showpony skipped across her platform, taking in the visuals of her new accomplices. They certainly were an interesting bunch. Turning to such an angle that the crowd could still see her properly, Starsong began to address the lot of them. "Alright, everypony, find some space onstage! You don't wanna be bumping into each other, now!" She laughed, repositioning her lilac self before the microphone. "I'm gonna start the song again, and you're gonna strut your stuff! The crowd's gonna tell me who gets to tour with me! Ready? Let's go!"
And with that, Starsong motioned her stagehands to begin the backing track again. She hoped that by not giving them any real time to think about it, they wouldn't really have the option to back out either. And doing things this way meant that she got to sing her song again without boring her audience silly.

At Starsong’s instruction to find some room, Crystal began to slowly trot all the way in the direction of the stage’s farther end. Having arrived, she immediately turned her head in the direction of the other three ponies atop the stage. Crystal never really got a good look at any of them before, so why the hay not? A mild scowl appeared upon the militant mare’s face as she glared upon the rainbow-maned pegasus.
“Brash and uncouth… Can’t even keep herself from totally fanfillying on top of the stage… So typical of her kind…” Crystal muttered to herself, unaware that she had just spoken aloud. Though the noise coming from Starsong’s audience would have surely served to veil her comment… right?
Crystal then took a glance toward the two earth ponies atop stage, the masked stallion and the seemingly nervous mare. The mare seemed normal enough to her, but the stallion seemed oddly familiar. Just where did she know him from? Had he served as a part of Equestria’s Forces at some point of his life? Crystal continued to ponder on the subject… until the music suddenly began to play atop the stage again.
Now, Crystal was hardly the best singer in Canterlot. To say it bluntly, she was horrible at singing. For both her own sake and the sake of the audience, she mumbled the lyrics to Crystal’s song apathetically. At least this way, nopony would have anything to complain about.

Apporta was feeling a bit more relaxed with herself. There was a time for her to worry about finding a mentor, and a time to have. Now she should be having fun! She tapped her hooved as the music started up, her mind washed in the hypnotic sound of Starsong.

StarShade's large, shiny eyes continued their focus towards Crystal Lance as he watches her move about upon the stage. The black unicorn wanted to get closer, maybe even rest his head upon the the edge of the stage to watch his idol, which was Crystal Lance, but the security held him back. So what he did was find a gap between the security personnel and squeeze his head through and between them, his neck stretching hillariously forwards.

This was a rare moment for Trace. She was frozen, stuck at an impasse. She had been dragged up onto this stage and now she was stuck. The lights were on her and a few others that came up and the music was already starting again. She wanted to just leave the stage, but she didn't want to be rude... but she didn't know the words to the song and she didn't dance. She glanced over at the rainbow pegasus and the 'better-then-thou' unicorn, but didn't find any help there. So she looked to Ranger standing next to her, who had been asked to stay as well.
"What do we do?" As asked, trying get him to hear her over the music.

As soon as the background music started, Rainbow Dash forgot everything around her and started dancing - well, it was more of a rhytmic hopping, really - and sang along at the top of her voice. She knew most of the text, and her loud singing certainly helped with the rest. She closed her eyes and felt her unkempt mane get trashed about as she continued to jump around. The chanting of the croud and the murmuring of other ponies on the stage blurred as she let herself get completely swept away with the music. This was awesome.
((Sorry for the lengthy delay. Ranger skipped his turn.))

Watching the others attempt to dance around was quite amusing to the violet pegasus, a gentler grin plastered across her maw. Her selection seemed to have caused a stir, though, as a couple of the ponies didn't seem as... enthusiastic as she'd hoped they would be. The crowd was cheering, calling for the entertainment the mare had promised them - she needed to get those hooves moving!
"Sing it with me!"
Letting the audience take the lead so far as the lyrics were concerned, Starsong turned her attention to the ponies she had drafted as her makeshift backup dancers. Rainbow Dash seemed to be the only one who was really getting into the stride of things! "Come on, let's get those hooves on the move! Don't think about the crowd, just listen to the music - the beat will give you the rhythm you need~!" It was kind of generic advice, she supposed, but for the pony who was so musically inclined, explaining how to dance was difficult. Usually, Starsong could tap out anything to a piece of music - sometimes no more than trotting in time to the beat, but that was all a sensation like herself needed! Her talent was in her voice, not her movements - she had others to do that for her.

“…I’m done with this,” Crystal scoffed on top of the stage. She couldn’t have felt more awkward and out-of-place that night on top of Starsong’s makeshift stage. Even for a former military mare such as herself, singing and dancing had not been among her disciplines. A teal-blue aura suddenly began to glow brightly from the tip of her horn. In just a mere second, the unicorn mare had vanished entirely from the scene, leaving nothing but tiny shards of crystal behind her.
“That should definitely buy me some time…” spoke an unnoticed white mare among the chaos of the crowd in awe. Crystal Lance had fled in such a flashy and over-the-top manner for a reason. She specialized in crystals, not teleportation. She certainly knew how to teleport. She just wasn’t capable of transporting herself long distances with it. Crystal opted instead to reappear close by in a manner so inconspicuous she would not draw attention among the crowd. As the ponies kept their focus on the spectacle atop the stage, Crystal Lance galloped back toward her tower in the mountains, remaining completely unnoticed and undetected.
Ugh… You are SO hiring somepony to buy groceries for you next time, Crystal…

It was getting late and Apporta began to feel the tiredness enter into her body, slowly draining her energy. Even the flashing lights and loud music could only delay the inevitable. As she let out a yawn, she knew it was time to go. "Well it was fun for the most part," Apporta said to herself as she turned and left the concert area, "It started strangely with meeting that Crystal Lance, but I guess it turned out fine as I really enjoyed the concert."
She then walked back home, her mind still filled with the sounds of the concert even as the actual concert disappeared from view behind her.
(OOC: And with that Apporta has left the thread. Thanks for the fun thread.)

StarShade's eyes widened in shock as he watched Crystal Lance disappear in a blinding bright light and leaving only shards of crystals behind on the stage. Worried, the black unicorn pushed himself away from the security personnel who were holding him back and began to search the crowd for his idol. But it was impossible to see anything amongst the sea of pony masses.
By the time the young colt had managed to find his way out of the crowd, Crystal Lance was nowhere to be seen. With a heavy sigh of deep sadness, StarShade slowly made his way back home in silence, leaving the roaring crowd behind.
