Ranger didn't really know what to say after the surprising hug from Willow. In fact, he had not expected such an emotional encounter. All of his resentment towards Shroudy lessened considerably when he heard what troubled him so. He could understand, after all, couldn't he?
He contented himself with a nod towards Shroudy. Though his face could not be seen beyond his mask, he did try to smile a bit. Hoping it could be picked up.

"That said, though... It's time we all got a bit of rest. It's very late, and I'm sure we're all weary from the past half hour or so alone." Willow remarked, offering them a sheepish smile as she turned and walked toward the guest room, pulling aside the curtain.
"I'm sorry, but I only have one guest room. You two will have to share a bed, I'm afraid." She mentioned, dropping the curtain again to put the food away now that it had cooled, before she'd head to bed herself.
"It's alright, Willow-- Thank you, again. I'm sure it's fine." Storm Shroud remarked tiredly; He hadn't been feeling tired up until now, but now that she mentioned it, his eyelids were growing heavier and heavier. He paused a moment to rub his eyes, glance over at Ranger, and then proceeded toward the surprisingly roomy guest room. If things did get too awkward, one of them could just sleep on the floor.
"But-- Willow?" Storm Shroud asked, pausing part way past the curtain, which had the long-maned mare glancing over her shoulder, "I'm going to be helping with that military movement I mentioned in my letter.. If you got it."
"I did."
"So-- I won't be back for a while. I just wanted to say, again, thank you." He mentioned, before slipping into the room to sleep, "And you, Ranger."
Tomorrow, he'd be mobilizing with his assigned team to the bog. And he didn't know when he'd be getting back.
..Or if.
