Curious of other's head canons for MLP:FiM are, the little bits of 'maybe' that are never addressed, likely will never be addressed, and otherwise personal interpretations of the established universe.
For example:
One of mine is that the lanky, taller unicorns as depicted on the show: Sassy Saddles, Tropical Dream, Flour De Lee, Cadence, etc... have more pure Unicorn blood. I figure that at one point, Unicorns appeared more like their traditional selves: cloven hooves, long tails with thicker fur at the tip, elongated horns, lanky, etc... but over time and inter-breeding, they have melded with pegasi and earth ponies genetics to create a more homogeneous look. The current lankier, taller unicorns just happen to have more purity to original unicorns (thus explaining their more prestigious heredity, i.e. wealthy Canterlot ponies) blood. They're also terribly inbreed, like British Monarchs.

Thats a really good one, I never would've guessed that one before. Mine is probably rather silly and not as thought out as yours Stygg, but you know how royal and proper Rarity acts? What if she is actually a long lost descendant of old royal blood? She's always so prim and proper and sometimes goes a little overboard with royals, but fits right in when she's herself.

My personal headcanon for Rarity is a bit out there. So we see that Rarity is the person who gets the most obsessive over being prim, proper, and feminine, that she is obsessed with her appearance, is incredibly skilled with clothes and make-up, and spends a lot of time making sure that she looks just right. We also know that her voice is a bit deeper than most mares, and it was just as deep (if not deeper) when she was a filly. We also see that she wears fake eyelashes, and that eyelashes are one of the primary distinctions between a stallion and a mare. Its for this reason I heavily suspect that Rarity is trans (MtF), and focuses so hard on her appearance and looking good so that she can feel like a mare. |

Ya'll have a thing for Rarity, I see. And Ixwa, I was not expecting a trans thing in relation to Rarity, she strikes me as too feminine in physique to least be mtf without the aid of like magic or something to just outright have turned into a mare (which, btw, can legitimately happen on CD - I know...).

Mythic Pegasus
Pegasi with the same kind of build as Fleur. These Pegasi have large wings and are more capable of longer flight times.

There are quite a few background ponies with larger wings. However I seem to be the only one who notices them as I can find no screen shots.
