What do y'all think of the songs we've gotten so far in s4? Rarity's Generosity song from the latest episode is my favorite so far.

I like what we've seen so far. Granted, Power Ponies was kinda sub-par and lacking the self-aware humor I've always enjoyed from the show, and Bats suffered a bit when Fluttershy's protests and concerns were more or less ignored, but other than that it's shaping up pretty well.
My favorite song so far: Hearts as Strong as Horses. I can't tell you how often I've listened to that one over and over again. Generosity makes a strong case though.

I honestly the Bats song is my favorite. It has that nostalgia feel if you grew up with Tim Burton movies like I did. I also liked the way they shaded the backgrounds during the song between characters'singing. Fluttershy's preceptive shows it the vampire fruit bats as cute and adorable while the background is light and generally positive. While Applejack's preceptive shows the bats being ugly, mean and just playing rude; while the background is dark and sinister. Plus, you have to admit that the song is pretty catchy. Ever since I watched the song in the Bats episode; I listen to it six times a day... ;3; I can't stop either...halp. All though I do think they could have played the song in a different way to show this argument better or the episode for that manner! I wished Granny Smith was in it. :T It could have played it a bit better in my mind if she was in it.

I liked the whole episode of "Rarity takes Manehatten". Definitely my favorite of season 4. I have enjoyed the bats song, and I like all of Rarity's songs, so naturally I enjoyed her Generosity song.

It has been generally positive for me, certainly better than S3. Believe that it's safe to say that Daring-Don't has been the weakest episode thus far, but even that was far better than a fair share from S3.
Best part of the season for me has been RD's crippling cider addition reinforced in Bats!, I'm right there with you Dash. 'What about the cider!?', indeed.

So, not sure if any of you saw the latest episode of MLP, but I quite enjoyed it. It looks like the next big event is going to be the Equestria Games. Like how S1 it was the Grand Galloping Gala, S2 it was the Royal Wedding.

Lol! I think that it's cool that Rainbow Dash is getting a street rep. Also, Bulk Biceps is a pretty funny character. I did notice a Griffon team flying around at a couple points. I wonder where in Equestria they come from?

Watch something bad happen at the EG that leads them to a key maybe? I also kinda wanna see some past villians come back in some way shape or form. especially Sombra.he is pretty awesome minus the whole making all the crystal ponies slaves. that would be pretty cool for us to have too. Crystal ponies. They didn;t come till season 3 though and CD is spun off from season 2.

I'm with you - Sombra was a pretty awesome villain, especially once the shield went down. Took him, what, a minute to conquer the Crystal Empire again? Word is we'll be seeing more of him in the next arc of the IDW comics, though, so fingers crossed.
Er... hooves? How would that even- Okay, nevermind. More on-topic, seems like the Equestria Games are this season's Grand Galloping Gala. Figure we'll see it late season? Mid to late?
