Though despite a griffon's lack of ability to use magic, they have compensated this aversion by crafting some of the most finely designed pieces of technology in the world. Many of these items can be used by both griffons and ponies, however only a griffon can truly benefit from their use.
Compound Helm - The helm is a unique prototype formerly under the direct supervision of Royal Adviser Loci, whose designs were lost in the revolution. It is an armored pilot’s helm with compound eyes that give the wearer 270 degree of sight. Giving nearly complete peripheral vision.
G.I.P.D - A gas based injection system that is attached to the body to provide accelerated propulsion or to aid in extended flight times. Using a system of pistons and harnesses, the wearer of the device is provided with the ability to not only move faster in the air, but with less strain and able to carry heavier loads without suffering exhaustion. Gyrotech Emblem - A very high tech Gyroscope that provides a gyroscopic field that allows a griffon to turn at a hair allowing 360 degrees of maneuverability at all speeds. The emblem must be embedded in chest plate armor.
Miasma - The Miasma is a saber which uses gas cartridges and hydraulic pressure that can silently launch projectiles from both sides of the blade. By clicking a hidden switch on the hilt guard, it will launch one of two smaller blades, making it ideal for surprise attacks.
Gungnir - The Gungnir is a long spear with four embedded wheel-lock one-shot pistols at the head. One of Loci’s earlier designs, there were only a few prototypes made, of which all but one have been lost or destroyed. It is designed to target tougher targets at range before physically engaging.
Sigyn’s Wrath - Talon and beak weapon crafted from a rare metal which once heated and struck, cannot be re-struck. The metal can shred through most armors as if it were flesh, rendering all but the thickest hides and plates useless. The use of the weapon, however, requires the removal of the griffon’s upper mandible in order to surgically graft the beak piece of the weapon. The talon piece is similar in nature to other talon weapons and can be removed and reattached at the wearer’s discretion.
Kladenets - Twin punch daggers which, much like the Gungnir, use two embedded pistols to increase their lethality. Only effective in close-combat, their frightening ability to slip between breaks and joints in an opponent’s armor makes this weapon exceptionally deadly in the right talons.
Dyrnwyn - A rumored blunderbuss style firearm which would be the last of the unicorn horn based weapons. Similar to the pistol which killed King Whitefeather, this rumored weapon was the last in the series designed by Loci but unlike its predecessors can fire pure unstable energy without the need to alter a physical projectile. The energy produced by the weapon can render magic protection spells and armors completely ineffective.
Aegis - The Aegis is a one of a kind armor made from a legendary dragon's hide and scales. Though thought lost an eon ago, this griffon armor could withstand hits from both physical weapons and magic without penetration through to the wearer, making it one of the most feared armors a griffon could don against magical creatures or ponies alike.
