"Hey, that is a great idea, Bygone. I know there's alot to do here living in Canterlot. Let's make it an adventure, we'll just walk down the street until you find something that interests you. How does that sound?"

"I say it doth sound like an adventure!" puck grinned. he took the last bite of his mice pumpkin pie and stomped on the corner of the empty pie pan with his hoof, flipping it in the air until it landed upside-down on his head. "Onward!"
Puck scampered off. then after a moments delay, he slowly walked back towards the other two, cleared his throat and said. "Ehm...Which way shall we proceed?"

"Okay, well, there's Pony Joe's, the donut shop; the History Museum, my favorite; or we could just wander around until we find something. But I guess we'll never figure it out unless we start somewhere, so... how about that way?"
Bygone accompanied his question with a hoof pointing towards the center of Canterlot.

Apporta shrugged as Bygone mentioned the local areas. Any place was better than standing around. "The center of Canterlot sounds like a good choice. There are some interesting shops and the university, and of course the castle. So that sounds good. Is that ok with you, Puck?"

"Onward I say!" Puck led the way to the town square, still auite a bit caught up in his own little fantasy. By the time they reached their destination though, modesty commanded Puck to take the pie tin off of his head. Puck stopped and stood crossing one forehoof over the other, watching the modest ritual of Ponies going right and left in and out of shops, unmoving, slowly drinking in the scene. "Twas a peaceful, ordinary day of the courtyard..." he mentally concluded.

"Ah, the University! That's definitely an adventure in and of itself," said Bygone with a grin. "I don't know how I could have forgotten that; good thinking, Apporta."
Noticing Puck stop to take in some sights, Bygone halted next to him.
"See anything interesting, Puck?"

"I almost forgot about the university myself, Bygone. I've been in the military for only a few weeks, but it seems like forever since I was in the university."
Then an idea popped into her head.
"Hey Puck, do you want to check out the university? There's all the classrooms and the library, and the cafeteria."

"nothing yet, but a scene like this haveth imprtance in writing too: setting the scene." Puck madea few scribbles on his notes, then rolled up the parchment, placing it back in his saddlebag. "Indeed it's been a while for me as well, let's sally fourth!"

Puck certainly seemed enthusiastic enough, and Bygone couldn't help but grin at the younger pony's infectious energy. Apporta had suggested the University, and the history student had no qualms about that. So, at a leisurely pace, he trotted towards his school.

Apporta felt right at home returning the school. She passed by the classroom buildings where she studied and practice her magic, the open courtyards where she would meet her friends, and especially the library. "Here we are, just like old times. I spent alot of my time here Puck studying, and you can find just about anything here." She pushed open the large wooden doors and entered. The library had a few ponies studying but otherwise was open and free to explore. "Alright. Where do you want to go first, Puck? Do you have a subject you're interested in?"

"Said the filly to the colt she hath just led to the candy store." Puck said, leaning slightly to the right on all his hooves to take in the sheer majesty of the place. For what seemed to be the dozen time of the day he pulled out his parchment and walked down a hallway, stopping to scribble something down here and there. "Twisting left and right between the narrow stone corridors, searching for light and fresh air, Sir Silas Wickersham crossed the peril paccked corridors, danger flitting at every turn!" His teeth gritted when he heard a 'Shhh!' come from one of the ponies in the library trying to study. His ears lowered. "Sorry." he whispered, a little redness coming into his cheeks.

Bygone smiled at Puck's antics. He was certainly a quirkly little guy, but definitely good-hearted. Trotting through the halls, it occurred to Bygone that he might want to see if there was anything interesting in his room, maybe one of those replica (blunted) hoof-fencing swords he'd made out of wood?
"Hey guys, you want to see my dorm? I've got some pretty cool stuff that you might like, Puck."
((Sorry it took me so long to post... If I don't post within a day or two, just skip me.))

Apporta couldn't help but giggle as he saw how excited Puck was seeing the library. It was like a foal in a candy store! He followed the pony around the library as he purused the shelves. "Well I'm glad to see that you like the library, Puck. I spent alot of my time here studying." Buygone mentioned his dorm room which brought up the adventure of finding his box for him. "That sounds like a good idea Bygone. What do you think Puck? Do you want to see Bygone's dorm room?"

Puck emerged from the stacks with a copy of "The Great big Monster book of Monsters," Which he promptly put in his saddlebag on the side opposite he kept his own book. he teetered right, form the weight, then teetered back, firmly staying on all four hooves. "To see the dorm of a scholar? Sounds like a fine place to continue my research."

While Bygone was glad that the other two seemed okay with visiting his room, at the same time he was a little nervous. What if they didn't like his stuff? Maybe it was too boring...? He tended to have that effect on some ponies, going on and on about the historical intricacies of things...
Keeping up a positive outlook, Bygone trotted slowly through the familiar path to his room, stopping right outside the door.
"Ready?" he asked with a nervous smile.
