Quick Trick, a Pegasus of many trades. On the move since she was young, raised by many different people, yet now she was alone. Usually she would be flying at this altitude, using her wings to carry her across the long stretching clear skies, but now her wings were tired and she didn't think walking among the woods below would be a good plan. So the long stretches of cloud covered sky would have to do. Sure their where a few leaps to be made, or small flying trips but he would live.
In tow she had a saddle bag rapped around her waist, it allowed access to her wings so she could still fly as well. The left saddle bag held self made arrows that she fashioned last time she was on the ground, they were by no means deadly but could definitely injure. The rocks on their ends were atleast somewhat sharp. After all it wasn't like some fine craftsman made them, she couldn't afford it anyway. In her other saddle bag she had a few food items, most of which she scavenged or stole, and that was about it. But let's not forget what was tucked under her right wing, a nice unicorn bow, which for some reason was in the hands of a Pegasus.
Quick let out a sigh, the pegasus looked up towards the sky, the sun was right now in the east, she was heading to the north east, right where she wanted to go. Manehatten was her next stop, hopefully to get some money. Maybe work, maybe some odd jobs, heck she would off someone for a good meal and some rest. The Pegasus was going to make it there before nightfall hopefully, all she would need now was some one to bother her.

A strange buzzing sound began to bug her ear, it started off small and barely noticeable, but it quickly grew louder... and louder... and louder... now it was more of a whistle? It came directly above her. Then she heard a panicked cry:
"Look out below!"
Then smack! Poof! A fog rose up from the cloud she has just been floating on and a pair of hindquarters appeared on it. Wiggling desperately to try and get out. "Uh help please!" A muffled pony's voice came from within the cloud. Then a loud sneeze.
On the wiggling hind quarters, colored a pleasant sand color, was a cutie mark of what looked like a comet... crashing violently into the ground. Yeah... sounds about right...

"You're gonna need it!" Screeched a shrill, rough griffon voice, accompanied with the piercing sound of wings cutting through air as if a knife's blade as it descended upon the hapless Pegasus, stuck fruitlessly within a cloud. The female griffon slammed into the cloud, eliciting a puff of smoke, mist, and sweat into the surrounding air as she checked the pony out of his temporary prison and once more into the sky.
"I want my bits back!" She demanded, hovering above the dazed pony, "And so help me, you'll be a regretting this by the count of five - oh hay, what a surprise, another dweeb is here." The griffon awkwardly reeled upon sight of Quick. "You can ignore us, just a bit of fun-" She grabbed the Pegasus, pulling him close to her, "Just a friendly squabble, you know, between some gambling friends. Nothing to report to the guard or anything, hehe!." She fiercely placed her beak to the pony's ear, "Right!? She uttered, baring her razor sharp beak and digging in her claws to the bewildered pony. "So, Hi, I'm Gilda and this is... a pony. Say hi, pony"

Quick Trick had her eyes a head of her, not looking towards the sky like she should have. Threats from above where most certainly more dangerous after all. When she heard the scream from above she jumped into the air, her bow looking around her wing and resting on the shoulder join. This was the least comfortable way to hold it when flying but she had no other choice. When the pony landed she landed herself on the soft cloud, eyeing the character only. Then the gryphon came.
The mare took a few steps back in fear, she didn't like confrontation especially with other ponies. Definitely not gryphons either, they had claws and sharp beaks made to kill. They didn't need a weapon, unlike her they where a weapon. Trying her best Quick Trick kept her composure, but out of sure force of habit she had open her left saddle bag with her wing. The arrows where now accessible to her should she need them. When the gryphon picked up the other pony and began to talk she became defensive.
Finally Quick Trick spoke, notching an arrow and drawing it as she did so. "S-stay back, I am warning y-you." Her words were hesitant, full of worry as she eyed them. "P-pony are you with the Gryphon, if not then drop them Gryphon before I put an arrow between your eyes!" False threats, she had never purposefully shot someone before. But the Gryphon didn't know that. "Both of you stay where I can see you, I-I don't want any funny business you hear!" She almost yelled, fear evident in her voice. She was caught off gauged after all, and she didn't want any trouble or anyone to get hurt for that matter.

"I swear I have no idea what this griffon is talking about! She's insane! I never wagered with her, she just started chasing me! Please help, I'm not a Pegasus, I don't know how to get out of this stupid cloud!" The muffled pony cried out from inside the cloud, waving his hind hooves desperately in a futile attempt to dislodge himself.
"I am a well respected member of the Mages Circle of Canterlot I'll have you know!" The muffled pony continued, still struggling against the cloud, when finally he managed to dislodge himself, however, he failed to take into consideration the forces of say... gravity.
"Eyyyyyyaaaagh!" He managed to give out a long drawn screen as he began plummeting towards the earth.

Gilda takes a cursory glance at the pony, then realizes she had been chasing the wrong one since that cloud formation."Huh guess he's right; well all you equines look alike inside clouds - how was I to tell?" She shrugged, losing any grip she had on the other. "Slippery dweeb got away. Happen to see another sandy looking pony flying around here, by any chance?" She hovered there, forearms crossed impatiently, as she watched the bow-ready pegasus before her, and waited for an answer.
When upon the non-flying variety of pony slipped and fell, Gilda casually traced his decent with her eyes and waved the cloud the pony had pulled off of himself away, but remained otherwise unflinching as she hovered in the air, clearly lacking any concern for the one falling. "You might want to get that." She muttered as she motioned towards the pegasus, then the falling pony, with one talon. "I need to take a breather."
