Hightower has been wandering the Everfree Forest, corrupted, ever since the end of the Prism Wars and was recently cleansed by Princess Luna, returning to his rightful rank.
Destrier: A true legend of Equestria, Destrier is still known as the most powerful unicorn to ever walk Equestria, mentor to Princess Celestia and Luna themselves as they grew up, defeater of the Matriarch leading the dragon armies in the Dragon Wars, and eventual defeater of The Adversary.

The Alchemist Not much is known about this pony other than the fact that he is an alchemist of inconceivable power. By legend he discovered Ambrosia, which if consumed will turn any pony into an Alicorn. And from then on became its keeper. This has no historical backing whatsoever.
Titan Razorwing: Known for founding the Stars, elite Pegasus military unit and for defeating Blackmane during the Prism Wars. Recently it was discovered that he was capable of summoning his namesake, the Sky Titan and used it to down several fleets of the Griffon Armada during the Prism Wars. Whether forced to the ground, or forced high up into the clouds, Atlas always had a plan. The backbone of the distressed Razorwing Family after the death of its Patriarch and Matriarch, Atlas' ability to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders is considered what made the Razorwing Family what it is today.
Prometheus (Preemptive Strike) Razorwing: Son of Titan, brother of Epimethius and Atlas. Prometheus was well known for his ability to read the map both politically and militarily and plan future moves accordingly. His brilliant tactical formations prevented many a war in the years after the death of the King and Queen, when Equestria's army was at its weakest. Prometheus' foresight is considered what helped the Razorwing family outmaneuver both Equestria's enemies and the other noble families and ensuring their place as the right hoof of the throne.
Epimethius (Counter Strike) Razorwing: Son of Titan, brother of Prometheus and Atlas. Epimethius was well known for his ability to exploit weaknesses in every enemy formation and learn from every mistake, both his own and his enemies'. This ability landed Equestria many important victories over its enemies after the death of the King and Queen, when Equestria's army was at its weakest. Epimethius' hindsight is considered what kept the Razorwing Family at the edge of the spear in every war and their superiority above the other noble families, ensuring their place as the right hoof of the throne.
Nova Blackmane: Spouse of Titan Razorwing, matriarch of the Razorwing Clan. Was the most skilled dog fighter in Equestrian history, her aerial skill was unmatched. She was selected to found a new unit in the Equestrian Air Force before a piece of armor given as a gift by the adversary at the end of the Dragon Wars corrupted her, turning her into the twisted Sky Pirate known as Blackmane. Under the control of the armor, Blackmane had all but destroyed the Equestrian Air Force during the Prism Wars until she was struck down by her own husband. The Blackmane Armor has since passed traditionally from the best sky pirate of a generation to the next. Finally after having been defeated by Percheron Razorwing, without the armor being claimed, Blackmane was able to possess the body of the defeated pegasus and tap her full powers. The last great achievement of Blackmane was summoning the Sky Titan and destroying Canterlot in the Blood Wars. Put to rest when the armor was destroyed.
Percheron Razorwing: Captain of the Stars, Percheron is known for defeating Blackmane once and then defeating the fully powered Blackmane in the Blood Wars. Recognized as the most skilled aerial combatant in Equestria, holds five consecutive Champion titles from the Cloudsdale Aerial Dogfighting Tournament. Percheron is so skilled at aerial warfare that a new title was invented for his sake - "All-Time Unbeatable Champion" of the tournament, an honorary title which prohibits him from participating in any more dog fighting tournaments but gives him a seat as a judge, made to allow new champions to rise. Unfortunately, the rising star was shot down when Celestia inexplicably discharged him from the Stars, with rumors circulating about inappropriate relations between the two. Percheron was a lieutenant in the Cult of Eclipse during the Eclipse Crisis and reformed the Red Barons, Blackmane's former pirate group into a disciplined military unit to rival the Stars. After the conclusion of the Eclipse Crisis and his defeat of the fully powered Blackmane, Percheron resumed command of a newly formed unit to replace the Stars, The Sky Titans.
Watermark: Leader of the Red Mages, a unicorn military unit consisting of specialized pyromancers. Formerly part of the Cult of Eclipse, Watermark became a battle mage under the tutelage of Red Charge and is a famous alchemist, using both Equestrian and Zebra techniques in perfect synergy. Ashrider has contributed greatly to the understanding and economy of magical energies and its interactions with the physical energies of the world. Disappeared again after completing his magnum opus, Magmarhyme, the eternally burning sword made out of solidified magma.
Even later still, Red Charge would resurface as Professor Rainlock, a world famous explorer and archaelogist. Professor Rainlock's adventures are known to many and many books and stories have been written still about him and his daughter, Gale Rainlock. Professor Rainlock is known far and wide for his contribution in the fields of archaeology, zoology, crypt-zoology, anthropology and cartography.
He would re-emerge one last time as Red Charge, leader of the Cult of Eclipse, planning on summoning an ancient deity and control it in order to protect Equestria from a rising tide of monsters. Unfortunately, due to Princess Celestia's refusal to speak with him and her branding him as a criminal, the Eclipse Crisis occurred and he was not able to control Eclipse as it was summoned. Instead forced to destroy the deity. After bringing the facts to Princess Luna as a compromise he was put in position as a royal adviser to the Princess.
Gale Rainlock: Owner of the Rainlock fortune, Gale Rainlock is a renowned explorer and the inspiration for the Daring Do books. Her mansion hosts Equestria's largest artifact vault, exotic plant greenhouse and exotic monster/animal zoo. It also contains a massive library to rival Canterlot's and a Pegasus training room that simulates true to life weather events in large open environment. Gale Rainlock is one of the most powerful ponies in Equestria, though she does not delve into politics. She owns the Rainlock Security Forces, a private army completely loyal to her and willing to serve her every whim. Lady Rainlock spends most of her time and money on the discovery and exploration of Equiterian Ruins.

That was of course, until his audacious robbery of the Rainlock Mansion, stealing a powerful artifact from within the mansion's most well guarded vault. Rumors say that he used this artifact to slay a deity!
The Swift Gazelle: Legendary keeper of the Silver Grove hidden deep within the Everfree Forest. Many claims throughout history were made of the place's existence, but to this day there is no evidence of it even existing.
