I'm not sure if you can be a pirate or not here, but let's try Name: Lilly Cheese Gender: Female Age: Young Adult (but acts like a little kid most of the time) Species: Pegasus Pelt Color: Cream Mane/Tail Color & Style: Orange, yellow, blue and green, each color in a separate strand, with short random strands Eye Color: Aqua Cutie Mark: A orange, yellow, green and blue swirl Residence: Occupation: Captain of the pirate crew "the cheese heads" Talents, Skills: decent swordsmare, has a kinda good aim, thinks fast and usually comes up with stupid but useful plans Likes: Food, her crew, making bad ponies mad at her, lazing around, fight Dislikes: Jerks, mean ponies, unfair things, lack of unhealthy stuff in food. Character Personality: outgoing, weird, wise in a stupid way, innocent, honest, (almost) never takes things seriously Bio (optional) : She was the daughter of two of the most important pirates in that time, but when she was five, during a really strong thunderstorm in the sea, the ship they were in sank, and she and her parrot Blau got separated from the rest of the family. They made it weak and unconscious above a chest her mom kept to a merchant ship that took them to the other side of Equestria, and lived in an orphanage in there for the next 8 years, until one day she escaped, got a ship and started to search for her family and for the treasure that the map inside the chest that saved her marked, getting her crew along the way. Here's my favorite pic of her, just in case:

Dunno what Red's opinion on this would be but a 13 year old pirate captain is... unheard of. As the resident piracy/pirate/sailing expert, the idea that a crew (an experienced crew not withstanding) would follow someone so young, even with her family line, is unheard of. Pirate crews followed captains that had a name for themselves, proved themselves so to speak. You worked the lines, you did your time "learning the ropes", then if one was bold and skilled enough they were either given a ship (routinely one that was captured by the captain they sailed under), mutinied their own ship, or bought one and then gathered a crew using their name/reputation/money as incentive to sign on board (or "persuaded" sailors of vessels you captured to join). Thus if you could buy a ship worthy of high-seas, you were either a noble and would have apprenticed with the navy or merchant fleet or you were a very successful pirate, sometimes both. This doesn't even include someone who was issued a Letter of Marque by the state and given the resources (or had them already) - this was either because you were somebody, applied for one, or had a distinguished naval career.
Boiling this down, I want to know what makes Lilly captain material, especially at a young age. Why and how has she been able to get a ship and convince a crew to sign on her ship, and how she is skilled enough to command a vessel, especially being in an orphanage for 8 years. At 5, could she chart? Did she know winds, tides, weather patterns and retain that knowledge for 8+ years? What is her naval battle experience? Consider the average age for a pirate captain during the Golden Age of Piracy was around 30 and they would have started their career at sea about the same age as Lilly is already a captain.
That brings me to my next point, is her crew young too? If that were the case, like say, other orphans, that might make more sense. If that is the case, how do they handle themselves against seasoned veterans or even the sea itself; did Lilly train them?. The open water is no place for kids, it's harsh, deadly, unpredictable, and always unforgiving. Does Lilly have the experience and the command presence to keep a crew in line in the wake of such an extreme environment? Not even to mention the sea-monsters that actually populate this world.
Another point, sea-travel is actually rather rare in the world. Mostly used for work with the hippocampi, bulk trade, and other non-time sensitive matters, but in essence, a dying art. Airship is the more common form and there are sky-pirates. Even if she is a sky-pirate, my questions and concerns are still valid as we treat it very much the same way as one might imagine seafaring.
Now, I'm not pooh-poohing the idea of a young pirate (leave Red for the final call on that), but if we're to consider this the Admins need a lot more details and reasoning that we can agree with it.

You can be a pirate, but definitely not a kid pirate. Your character will have to be an adult at the very least. Also, as Equestria isn't earth, there's no spanish in it therefore "El Vago" is not a valid name for a ship. Also - sea pirates are barely existent if at all due to the Airship being the most used method of transportation, so just take that into account.

Well, respect to the crew and how she learned to sail and fight,I skipped it it the bio xD But yes, the crew are other orphans and slaves, who she managed to get on her side, first promising them freedom, and then becoming true friends. And she has been teaching them how to be pirates. She learned how because during her time at the orphanage she escaped everyday to a bar where pirates usually reunited, and by looking at them, and in lucky times talking with them, she learned to be a pirate, and sometimes escaping from them and defending herself she learned to fight.
But well, what I'd have to change would be:
Age: Young Adult
Residence: Her airship, the Wandering Wind
Would that be ok? Do I have to make an updated thread? :3

I can approve that much, just make sure to go over all of the rules and guides to make sure you don't make your character overly bold. Active air pirates are hunted down by the government and there's currently a griffon fleet in Equestria that won't hesitate to blow her out of the sky if she causes trouble.
