Name: Sylvia
Gender: Female
Age: Teenage
Species: Dragon
Scale Colors: She has red scales with dark red markings. Her wings and the membranes between her spines are golden in color
Eye Color: Her eyes are golden yellow, her eyes are a bit more soft than most dragons, but her pupils do become thin slits in her eyes when she's angry or feral.
Size: She's about the size of an Alicorn, but a bit longer due to her long neck and tail.
Residence: She was set up a cave in the forest near Canterlot, but she eventually decided to travel the world instead.
Occupation: Treasure hunter/Bounty Hunter. Sylvia will go out of her way to help anyone with their tasks, be it pony, gryphon, or dragon. As long as it doesn't come to the harm of innocents.
Talents, Skills: Being a dragon, she mainly relies on her fire breathing and flying abilities. She uses her claws to her advantage as well, and she can be a fierce fighter when she needs to be. Unlike many teenage dragons, she remains on all fours most of the time, and has a hard time using her claws other than fighting and hunting.
Recently, Sylvia's wings became more developed, giving her much better air maneuverability. She can take on aerial enemies with much greater ease than she ever had before.
Likes: Shiny Objects, Music. She also loves to fish, and is quite good at it, having learned from a good gryphon friend at one point.
Dislikes: Crowds, dark forces, other dragons. She's sort of an outcast from her kind, due to her interest in other cultures. She strongly dislikes any evil being, and she hates thieves who try to steal her treasures.
Items of Interest: Sylvia has obtained a mysterious golden puzzle piece. She also has a fireproof scroll, an affidavit saying she is a friend of the Princess's army in case any pony fears her.
Character Personality: Fierce to her enemies, but gentle to her friends, Sylvia doesn't have the cruelness of most dragons, but instead relies on kindness to those who give it to her first. She will protect the weak no matter what the cost, sometimes putting their needs before her own. Because of this, other dragons see her as a weak, lesser being, but it doesn't keep her down. Instead she thrives on the attention given to her by other creatures, since they seem to appreciate her more.
Bio (optional) : Sylvia grew up like any other dragon. However, while others were cruel to 'lesser' creatures, she was kind, helping out young timberwolves in the nearby forests of the dragon lands, or even small mammals that would nearly be crushed by careless dragon feet. Her father learned of this and his respect for her had dwindled to nothing. Phoenix decided it would be best for her to leave her father's cave and seek her own path.
Sylvia never knew her mother. She left when she was but a dragon pup and never learned from her father where she could have gone. Sylvia feels that it is because her mother had left that her father had become so cruel and heartless.
Events So Far:
Sylvia started her adventure by meeting a few Kelpies and being intrigued by the odd pony-like creatures. She was discovered by a group of gryphons that spoke to her about a threat of a Lich dragon, and they wished her to gain the help of the Dragon Council, becoming a sort of ambassador for the dragons. Unfortunately Sylvia was not interested, afraid she would not be able to handle such a great responsibility. Having found a golden puzzle piece item while working in the crematorium, she was told she could keep it, and placed it in a satchel which she uses for carrying objects. Instead of staying around, she continued on her travels to learn more about the worlds denizens, having lived in a cave her entire life.
Sylvia discovered the Stone and Brick family who were refugees during the great war. She tried greeting them but was met with quite a bit of fear. However, a group of drakes descended upon the group and Sylvia did her best to protect the ponies, not wanting them to be killed by the horrid beasts. After gaining the Stone and Brick familys' trust, Sylvia followed them to Fillydelphia where she was instantly surrounded. The army thought she was an enemy dragon, but with the help of Loose Brick, she convinced them that she was not the dragon they were looking for. She was given a chance to prove her innocence by finding the dragon that had caused such havoc on the city.
Joined by a quiet, frightened Pegasus named Fluttershy, the two travelled to a cave where they met a selfish, greedy dragon named Garble. He tried convincing Sylvia to join him in eating the poor pegasus, but Sylvia stood her ground. After a small scuffle, Sylvia managed to pin Garble down long enough for Fluttershy to use her Stare.
With Garble in tow, the two arrived back in Phillydelphia. Sylvia was given an affidavit saying that she was a friend of the Princess's army. They were sure to make it fire proof to avoid any accidents. She and Fluttershy parted ways, and was invited to Ponyville once things settled down.
