Glistening sunlight filtered through the freshly-cleansed, windows; setting glossy covers, of old & New leather books alike, aglow. A sweet voice resonated from with the depths of the library; ricocheting from the vast arrayed shelves. The voice was soft, as if spoken from afar and incomprehensible at first, but as the moments passed as ephemeral-intangible-essences, it gradually arose in volume. "Now, each section has specific organization. It is very important that you stick to it!" The value of the feminine voice came across as a little older. Not quite with the prime of blossoming youth, nor the withering after effects of creeping old-age. It hovered -delicately- somewhere in the twilight of the ultimatums. This middle-aged mare was the managing librarian, whom was clearly instructing someone about the system of her store. Concordia let a small, inaudible, sigh pass her lips; eyeing the towering bookcases with a slight intimidation reflecting in her emerald gaze. " It shouldn't be a problem, Mrs. Inkwell." her youthful-softer-tones paled to the scorning potential within Mrs. Inkwell's. " Please darling, call me Royal. It suits much better than Mrs. Inkwell." Concordia nodded. She was here as a tour, just being hired to organize the books and return them to their places after pony uses. It was her only job as of yet. Being trained into the rest of the store would come with time. " Alright! I think that about wraps up the tour! Now, there is a cart of misplaced books over there. I want you to put them where they belong." Royal's words startled Concord. She was expected to start today?! " Uh... Wait! You want me to start working? Right now?" Her words were hardly straight leaving her mouth. Rushed, stumbling, quivering ever so faintly with nervous energy. Royal chuckled something fancy to herself. "Of course darling! After all, this is a chance to prove your worth! Don't disappoint me! Good luck! Toodles!" With the last of her hurried syllables fading on shocked silence, she was gone in a dash. Concordia huffed, casting a doubtful glance toward the awaiting cart. Might as well get started. She approached the daunting project with feathered hooves and hesitant courage. Her twisting horn sparked with a green light. The green essence engulfing one of the books so she could lift it and read the title,"Wishing on a Snowflake". Concordia shrugged and turned to the looming shelves to her right, not knowing where to even begin! " Oh... This is not going to go well."

And indeed it was not to end well, for a certain unicorn happened to be in the library today whose idea of perusing through shelves and books was like sorting through rubble, tossing one book after the other till she found the one she sought.
The ruckus came from a row of shelves on the other side from where Concordia stood. The occasional book flew up and over the shelf, splayed open like bird falling flat on its belly, spine up. "Nope, nope, uh... nope. Book after book came flying up and over, landing around the flustered new librarian. "Sigh... where are you? Nope!"Another book flew up and over, striking the top shelf above Concordia, causing a cascade of books to rain down around her.
The silver mare, with a frazzled red and yellow streaked mane and tail, shifted to another shelf, pulling more books out and giving their covers a quick glance before tossing them aside. Her white magic wrapping each book she molested in uncontrolled sparks as her telekinesis yanked them from their proper spots. Even when her horn wasn't coursing with magic, little electric sparks shot out as if from an exposed wire. She stopped for a moment, using her hoof to wipe away the sweat from her forehead with a very frayed ivy cap. "Never realized reading was so exertive."

The initial surprise of the first book landing not inches from her feet had still paralyzed her before the rain of literary objects came cascading down around her. The incident was enough to break her concentration and drop her own enveloped book at her feet. Any other equine would have been furious and raging about safety and curious as to why whoever was doing it, was doing it; however, this was not the placement in her moods. If any of the items listed above suited her, it would be the curiosity. " Hello? Excuse me... uh... do you need help?" Quiet, restrained voice was barely audible above the ambient crashes of books colliding against the dyad tiled floor.

The destructive pony barely flick an ear to Concordia's request, too wound up from her fevered but thus far fruitless search. Took another book down with her horn's magic and gave its pages a few quick turns, eyes reading down the pages like the platen of a typewriter. Click, click, ching, slide.
"Nope, not this one." She let the book fall at her hooves. With a sigh of defeat she turned, and suddenly becoming quite startled that another pony was standing so close. She recoiled with surprise. "Wha! Sheesh, don't sneak up on me like that." The sparks from her horn grew more violent, a product of being startled, as the cascaded down in a heavy rain before subsiding. The pony shot Concordia a inquisitive glance, then smiled. "Hey, you one of them book keeper ponies? I'm looking for a book, it's about 'yaa' big, filled with words. Had a cover, think it was reddish-brown." She mimed the book's description with her hooves as she spoke. "On electricity and magic. You know what one I'm talking about?" She cocked her head like a confused and curious dog.
