Viola blinked, adjusting her glasses after she had wiped them thoroughly. Which proved to be a common practise, the slightest hint of dirt or smuge quickly erased once noticed. The spectacles were set at the end of her nose, small and round, as well as delicate in structure. Yet, with the correct spell in use they could be quickly repaired without incident. She felt a bit odd, and out of her usual enviorment despite the welcomed peace. Her brown mane hung loosely instead of in its usual bun, her form bare of accesory. After glancing about, she settled at the table, her seat comfortable. The waiter had been called earler, and she patiently awaited her salad to be served. No real plans were set for today; Viola was on vacation, after all. And it felt perfect to simply enjoy Canterlot. Though she would likely travel elsewhere after picking out a location. The mare sighed after a moment, resting her head upon the flat surface and shifting her position. Though this was terribly improper, it felt wonderful to relax. And barely anypony was around to witness her behavior, after all.
"Princess Celestia, be blessed," she praised, her gaze focusing on the clear skies above.
The sun's warmth peirced through the cool air, warming her. And the thought of crisp vegetables traveled across her mind.

"I'm telling you, I saw it, Rust Phoenix man, it dive bombed Starsong's concert! No joke!" An excitable goldenrod coated pony said to his grey colored friend, from the looks of him, a royal guard unicorn off duty.
"You're joking," The unicorn replied, "THE Rust Phoenix, magic giant golem made of flamethrowers?"
"Yeah! He literally torched the entire stage Starsong was on! I don't even know how she got out of there without a scratch, and get this - now the Dreadnaught is missing!"
"Dreadnaught?" The unicorn asked, puzzled.
"You don't know what the Dreadnaught is? How did you get in the Guard anyway?" The goldenrod pony asked, exasperated. "The Dreadnaught was King Dreadwing's flagship, the largest most powerful ship in the world. Made with Dragon and Pony magic as well as Griffon ingenuity. Even have a golem roc escort. No, nothing?"
The two continued their conversation as they drew away, but it was barely legible.
"The Dreadnaught gone? Huh." A cobalt Pegasus sitting in the next table to Viola wondered aloud. "Seems like things are heating up in the Griffon Kingdom as well." He spoke to Viola, "What do you think? Is it a coincidence that a mythical creature attacked the Griffon Capitol at the same time frame that one of the most powerful air vessels in the world gets hijacked?"
