Character Personality: Judging by appearance, you may think that Winter Mist is an overly-confident diva. That is not entirely true. She walks with her head held high and a confident smile upon her face. She may be slightly overly-confident, but she is far from a Diva. This young pony keeps her appearance up, however, she is not high maintenence. She keeps herself up so that if she is running short on time (which does happen on occasion) she does not need much time at all to apply finishing touches to herself. Winter Mist is, however, a bit of a ham. She loves to get a crowd going, something which she finds herself to be fairly adept at.
Though social interaction is not one of her strong points, most of the time Winter Mist still likes to be around other ponies. She can often times be frank or blunt, but she never means any harm. She has a genuinely good heart. She tries very hard not to offend anyone, and she gets very upset when somepony gets mad at her for something she said. For, as was said previously, she never means to offend and has a genuinely good heart.
It is very hard to get on Winter Mist's bad side. She hates very few other ponies, and to get on her bad side means that they have to have wronged her greatly. Though she does often get mad at other ponies, she quickly forgives them unless they remain mad at her. Then, she gets mad at them because they're mad for some generally dumb reason...
Winter Mist is a very intelligent pony. She can quickly pick up anything and learn it well. She loves to learn and is generally willing to learn about anything.
Bio (optional) : Born in a small forest town, far west of Appaloosa where the ground returns to the lush, green state it is in the east, Winter Mist had always dreamed of moving to the big city of Manehatten. She grew up reading of the wonderful city, dreaming of traveling there.
Her parents wouldn't let her.
Winter Mist was forced to stay in the small town where she assisted the weather ponies every time the seasons changed. Though she enjoyed her time changing the weather, she wanted something different. She didn't know what that was though...
So, Winter Mist set out to find her true calling.
She tried everything; from cooking to sports, she had tried everything. Though she was alright at everything, she could not earn her cutie mark.
One day, sulking from her lack of cutie mark and being one of the last ponies who had to obtain hers, Winter Mist went for a walk through the town. As she wandered, she stumbled upon the town's tiny theatre who was holding auditions for its next production. Thinking that may be a way to obtain her cutie mark, she eagerly hopped up on stage and sung for the director, a stout, critical, greying Stallion. The old pony was hard to please, but surprisingly enough, he loved the young mare's performance. He cast her in the show, and thus her cutie mark was obtained.
Winter Mist's parents however, disagreed. They wanted their young daughter to be a medicine pony. They wanted the girl to train in the field which they thought suited such an intelligent pony. Though Winter Mist agreed medicine was an excellent career to go into, theatre was her passion, her calling. She continued to participate in the productions.
The young pony did however have one relative who supported her in her career choice; her old uncle Howard. Uncle Howard was an old, thin pony, who back in his day, had been a star. He was the stallion the mares would see in films and on television and swoon over. With beautiful Arabian features, he looked very much like his young niece, save for different coloring. He felt the girl would do very well in the industry, so he took it as his job to coach her.
Uncle Howard, though, was growing very old. When he first started coaching Winter Mist, the two would spend hours upon hours rehearsing together. However, now, he would get incredibly tired after just a half an hour of rehearsals. Winter Mist knew his death was forthcoming.
After his passing, Winter Mist discovered that Uncle Howard had left his entire fortune to Winter Mist. Knowing it was what he wanted her to do, Winter Mist moved from the small town to the big city of Manehatten, where she plans to begin a career as an actress.
