Character Personality: Theo is a kindly, if apathetic, soul; he tries to embody the philosophy of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," with the added caveat of "I won't do anything unto you unless you do something unto me." He isn't anti-social, but his natural tendencies lead him to avoid social situations. Once he's in a conversation or similar encounter, though, he is reasonably sociable. One thing that often earns him the ire of those around him is his brutal honesty; he believes that truth is something sacred, not to be trifled with (as such, he is very fond of his theorems).
Bio (optional) : Theo grew up as second-youngest in a large family with a rich tradition of military service. His less-than-aggressive demeanor led him to be the runt of the litter, so to speak; he is very thin for a griffon, and not very tough physically. Most of his family left him to his own devices, not caring to pick on someone who couldn't pose a challenge.
This atmosphere of apathy led him to develop tendencies towards reclusiveness. With nobody to talk to, he turned to books for company. Here he found his passion; amidst the chaotic squabble of his rough-and-tumble family, he could find order and escape in the written word. Theo dreams of organizing the world to be as perfect as in the tales he loves to read; from this sprouted his love of math as a tool of order.
Eventually, his family kicked him out, tired of supporting him. Now freshly on his own, he works with anyone who needs some numbers crunched; while not a fantastic job, it pays the bills and Theo enjoys it. The idealist in him is not satisfied, though, and his major source of conflict lies herein: his apathetic nature vs his desire for order and perfection.
