She often keeps to herself, immersing herself into the tunes of her headphones and creating some sort of masterpiece, often enough, illegally. Much of like when Zecora the zebra came to town, most tend to avoid her because of her few black stripes and her off-set attitude. Not to say that she isn't a very nice individual, but she seems to not want an audience at all. Her artwork, however, is very inviting... most of the time. From her airbrush, she can create fantastic colors and shapes that nopony had ever dreamed of. Masterpieces will be made of foreign or nonexistent lands of beauty and mystery. Sometimes she will even create a painting of somepony that is on her mind. However, there does come times when the art pieces created are frightening and gruesome. Images of the past wars for piece or when Nightmare Moon had taken over the land, a memory nopony ever wants to visit.
Bio (optional): When Kolor Scene was just a filly, she had only known her mother. For this she actually quite grateful. She hated her mom for trying to force her to conform to the snobby Canterlot ways and for never understanding. However, she had overheard her mother and her mother's friends saying how her father was much worse. Apparently, while her mother was a stuck up snob, her father was a loser of a half-zebra stallion. He apparently never cared for staying around for any unborn foal, or leaving behind anything besides a few rattle-cans that were left in the basement to collect dust for the next few years.
From the very beginning, Kolor had a somewhat rebel attitude in the household. She wasn't exactly loud, but even when she was still in diapers, she was always trying to find a way to make things the way that she wanted. Her mother had never believed in letting foals play with colors, so no hoofpaint nor crayons were ever available. But being a young unicorn, this was nothing short of a challenge. Soon every wall, chair, counter, cabinet, and appliance in the house was covered with bright colors and designs that only a month old can come up with.
As she had gotten older into her school days, she rarely said anything to her mother, who had forced her to live away in a private school. The biggest nightmare an eccentric unicorn could ever dream of. Foals there were taught nothing other than the skills that were considered to be useful, such as culinary, cosmetology, classical music, gardening, general sciences, mathmatics, repair and electric (for colts only), and money matters. It was enough to drive Kolor wild!
She never had any roommates in that school. Many of the fillies were too scared of her, repulsed by her black stripes. She didn't mind though. That meant that she had an entire room to herself! The walls were soon covered with colors and patterns indescribable to anyone who had never seen her work. Soon the lack of art space was starting to get on her nerves, so she had decided to take up painting elsewhere. At night, she sneaked outside and did marvelous murals on the school's walls. No cameras or guards were ever used (this is a preppy-foal school after all. Nothing but goody two-shoes here). She couldn't help signing her name at the end of each masterpiece. This earned her plenty of detentions, but they'd never kick her out with the price her mother paid. Soon, her spray cans ran out and she was left with nothing once again.
Well into her teen years, Kolor Scene still was stuck in the same school system, but in the top classes with even older ponies. The fillies still avoided her, but she definitely became "one of the colts" since most of them hated the school almost as much as she did and even admired the artwork she had managed to put together with stolen paints from the custodians and the nerve she had to blast her music whenever she was told to turn it down or even shut it down. In the classes she learned what she was taught, but was never mentally driven to push herself further. The simple spells she was taught were always used to add toward her artwork.
One day, one of her colt buddies, Grabber Snatch, had gotten his hooves on an airbrush, a rare find in the city of Canterlot since many weren't skilled in the art. He had given it to Kolor in hopes that she'd let him into her dorm room. She had accepted the gift, but refused in letting him anywhere near the more than friends status. Soon a large air-compressor was taken from the maintenance room in the cart-repair shop of the school, as well as some paints, and brought up to Kolor's room. She knew that the supplies wouldn't be missed as the school had enough money to replace these items without second thoughts.
Airbrushing came naturally to her. New, intricate designs were covering up the old and the rebel filly had earned her cutie mark, a shiny silver airbrush right on her flank, spraying out magenta paint as bright as her mane and eyes.
By the time she a graduate of the school (of which faculty was glad), she had matured into a beautiful and quiet young mare. Her rebel ways were kept at bay once the school had provided her with a place to paint rather than on the side of their building. She always wore a bright blue hoodie to carry her airbrush and a few paints around in her pocket, as well as to hide the scars she had from when she wanted to give tattooing a try. Without ever visiting her mother again, she traveled to the city of Fillydelphia to try and market some of her artwork.
