Name: Neon Splash
Gender: Mare
Age: Adult
Species: Pegasus
Picture/Description:
She has a wonderfully bright pink neon coat. Her hind end has neon blue dapple spots and some freckles along her nose. Her mane and tail are purple with the same blue neon streak running through it. Her wings are also pink like her body. But it looks like the tips of her wings were speckled with blue paint as well; basically she has freckles on the tips of her wings. *And her eyes are a brilliant neon purple. -edit- I was able to draw her up today, and since my camera doesn't like to make pink look pink, she looks purple. But I swear she is neon pink. i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa460/AmazinglyOriginal/c6573afd.jpg (her cutie mark, the paint is more neon...) i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa460/AmazinglyOriginal/5b759171.jpg (a full body picture) i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa460/AmazinglyOriginal/ad8d2f6c.jpg (this is to show the freckles on her wings) i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa460/AmazinglyOriginal/32ef7129.jpg
Residence: Ponyville
Occupation: Paint shop owner.
Talents, Skills: She has always been able to put her hoof into painting and mixing paint. She loves to do anything involving paint. One of her even more special talents is making messes in it.
Likes: She likes anything that can make someone smile. Butterflies, flowers, rainbows. She likes to joke around and be helpful at the same time.
Dislikes: She doesn't like it when colors don't match. When a pretty purple is matched with a deep sea foam green, it makes her go insane. When things are out of place she goes insane, like an OCD.
Character Personality:
Persistence positively describes the personality of this pink pony. She love to peruse her ideas and she doesn't give up. She can be a loud mouth at times, but she doesn't mind one bit. As long as she can reel in new ponies to her show, she is happy. Paint mixing is what makes her the happiest, especially neon colors. She is a very welcoming pony and very trusting towards others. Loyal is also another wonderful wonder to describe her, once she has befriended you expect nothing but loyalty and kindness in return.
Not everything is bright and shiny with this pony. There are times when a little cloud would be hovering over her. When someone puts her down on her paint colors and hobbies, she takes it hard. Sometimes she shuts herself down for a couple days; that is until she mixes her hooves in paint again. Once somepony has ruined her trust, she holds a hard grudge against them until all is apologized.
Background:
Growing up she was always considered an outcast. Not so much as she didn't get along with any pony, but in the sense that her coat always stuck out from the rest. There was no pony who out shined her coat; and personality to go with it.*She was a late bloomer for her cutie mark, thats for sure. It seemed like whatever she tried to do, nothing would work in her favor. She was last in her class, and even went without it most of her summer. Around the age of eight is when she finally saw that her flank was no longer blank. Of course, that was also a terrible mess for the weather ponies to wake up too.
She went through flight school like the average pony. Average marks, average speed. Her flying was nothing special. Although as her neon tail waved behind her, it was pure epilepsy for the brain. That was pretty much her special talent in the flyers school. She graduated just like every other pony. Although no one really looked at her for the taking into special advantages like the wonder bolts, and definitely not the weather ponies; they figured out it was her.*
After flight school she resided in cloudsdale for a while, figuring out what she wanted to do. She was uncertain until a traveler went through her town. That's when she decided she wanted to move town to town and explore. It was a simple task. And one she would be glad to do until her parents accepted her fro*who she was. They weren't exactly proud of her adventures as a young filly. Off she went to follow this traveler; her name was x-mark.
After a few years of exploring equestria with x-mark she ended up back home. Nothing had changed too much. Ponies from school moved on. She parents were still a little cold, but missed her so. That was when they decided to accept her for who she was. Because it was at that time she decided to move to canterlot to own her own paint shop. Her parents were a little skeptical of her idea, but they urged her to move forward with her future.
Canterlot was much harder to get started in than she had hoped. Stuck up ponies passed by her without a hello or time of day. She her spirits wouldn't let her hopes fail. Even though the ponies in canterlot didn't approve of her taste, she knew she could find some place that would. Another year of traveling to the places she had been before. She finally found the place of her dreams. Ponies from all over gathered here. Not one species of pony was rejected. She stills smiles to this day as she wake up in ponyville each morning.
Cutie mark story:
One night while everypony in cloudsdale slept their night away she snuck out into the town. Curiosity was always a downfall, but man was it always a fun time! She had created her own little entrance into the weather factory, it had gone unnoticed since she had created it in the beginning of her summer. But after this incident, security was upgraded.
After exploring the factory for weeks, she had discovered a room of discolored rainbow colors. There were some that hadn't been mixed right. There were some that we're too dark, some that didn't match colors of the the rainbow, and some that we're too bright to be regular colors. Her attention was drawn to the brighter colors. She smiled as she mixed her hooves into different colors. One in pink. One in blue. One in orange. And one in green. She giggled in utter delight as she Trotted around the room, leaving neon pots where ever she went.
She had decided to mix the colors together, to see if they could form their own colorful rainbow. Fluttering her little body, holding the blue paint over the pink she carefully poured it in. The orange followed after. But once green began to mix she bean to loose balance. Her wings cramped and she fell back down towards the ground. She came crashing down onto the color mixture of paint. Of course some of the colors didn't mix as well as she had hoped, but it was still a perfect neon array of paint. Even though her body wad covered in it after the fall. She surveyed the damage of the room; which had paint spilled everywhere, now would be the perfect time to leave. She left the factory covered in a cost of paint; completely unaware of the surprise waiting for her.
As soon as she got home and washed herself off, there it was. She was staring at her newly printed flank. She smiled as she saw a spilled bucket of paint. Of course if news gets out about the mess in the factory her parents would know it was her. But she didn't care, this pony was no longer a blank flank late bloomer!
