Name: Ivory Flash
Gender: Female
Age: Young-Adult
Species: Unicorn
Pelt Color: Pure White (Albino)
Mane/Tail Color & Style: Pure White (Albino)
Eye Color: Pink (Albino)
Cutie Mark: To be officially decided - For now, a pony silhouette fading out to one side. However because she never went to magic school and hasn't learned to control her magic, her cutie mark is always invisible while she is visible, hence everyone thinks her to be an adult blank flank. (However whne she is invisible, her cutie mark is visible as a floating cutie mark.)
Residence: Ponyville.
Occupation: Ice Cream Vendor.
Talents, Skills: Turning invisible! Her special talent, that is, is turning invisible. She's also fairly talented at making ice-cream art in a cone, like Ice-cream roses, flowers, birds, ponies, buildings.. Though only because of experience in serving up sweet treats year round at her little booth.
Likes: Quiet, hidden places. Her favorite flavor of ice-cream is cookies and cream, and her favorite food + drink is Rose Petals over a bed of Iceberg Lettuce with Parsley, and a tall glass of Pomegranate Lemonade. Her favorite place to visit is a nice meadow-grove in the middle of Whitetail Forest!
Dislikes: Large crowds and fancy, elite ponies. High societies rattle her nerves, and she can't stand being stared at by too many people for too long. She especially hates being teased - That's more of a trauma, than a fear or dislike. Her least favorite food + drink is Raddish Root Salad with Walnut Topping, and a glass of Mango Juice.
Character Personality: Ivory Flash is quite shy, though not to the point of not being able to socialize well with strangers, like Fluttershy. It's just a matter of how many she's socializing with! One person is just fine.. But any more than that, and she starts to lose her cool. A life of torment and teasing among socialites, due to her supposed lack of cutie mark, has left her with a deep-seated fear and trauma of being rejected and ridiculed. She's a very kind pony, nevertheless, sympathizing with others of a lower class than what she was born into. She doesn't want any pony to go through the same treatment she has endured, and so she tries to be as kind as she can to every pony she meets.
That isn't to say she is without temper -- Though she may rarely ever act on her foul emotions, she can get really very angry when she sees another pony being mistreated or treated unfairly. The severity of this mistreatment decides whether or not she'll actually intervene, however.
Bio: Most unusually, when she received her cutie mark as a filly, there was a flash of light upon her flanks, as would happen when a cutie mark appears - She was playing hide and seek in a bush with her friends when it happened. In all of her excitement, she leapt out and presented her flanks thusly to her gathering friends, freezing on the spot as they laughed at her, claiming she was a liar and a nut!
Looking back, she could see no cutie mark upon her flank. "B-But--!" She stammered, eyes watering as she had waited for this moment for so long! Yet growing up, her cutie mark never appeared before her eyes. She grew up teased, scorned, and not to mention singled out for not one, but TWO conditions! Dealing with albinism was bad enough, but lack of a cutie mark?
Well.. she could hardly call herself a pony, now could she?
Still, as it went, she learned to just accept the insults and otherwise ignore them as she graduated from Manehattan Academy, and went into an ice-cream making business down in Ponyville, to be able to escape the high-brow snobs who wouldn't look at her without a foul remark on her appearance crossing their mind. It's not that she was ugly -- She was just different, and everpony knows how badly that can affect you in higher societies.
But what about Magic Academy? Why wasn't she there?
Well, to put it simply, Ivory's parents were quite fond of their little girl, and dreaded the thought of her going away so far from home! They were rich, but they weren't QUITE rich enough to afford a home in Canterlot, which would mean sending their little filly away on a paid tuition. Well, they just couldn't stand that thought, so they had promised her that she would instead be put under a mentorship with someone FROM Canterlot's Mage Academy after she graduated Manehattan Academy.
Well, so much for that! Ivory Flash didn't know what kind of skills she had, and she figured that as long as she didn't know what kind of magic her horn held, there was no loss if she didn't persue it. She gave up her learning of magic in order to just settle down where, hopefully, her appearance wouldn't matter.
..Of course, as shown here, her first few days in Ponyville, as she's getting settled in and aquainted, is a bit rocky as some of the locals have trouble adhereing to her appearance.
But it's better than Manehattan, she supposes, as most of the ponies around here seem tolerant of her somewhat startling coloration and blank flank, even if a bit shaken.
