Farkas' smug expression disappeared once Cryoshock threw a punch right into the wolf's face. What it changed to no one could really tell, because right after the punch landed, the wolf covered his snout with both hands. The mercenary let out a muffled insult at Cryoshock before getting surprised by a sudden tackle from the blue unicorn, bringing the two of them to the floor.
Surprised though he may have been, Farkas seemed to have no intention of letting Cryoshock wail on him. The wolf threw Cryoshock off of him before the Stalliongrad guard got the chance, quickly picking himself up as Cryoshock did the same.
"Cut it out!" came the voice of the substitute barkeep. "If you want a fight, take it outside."
Farkas kept where he was, his smirk returning. "No," he spoke, wiping some blood away from his nostrils with the back of his hand. "Blue-boy here wanted this. I'm happy to oblige." The wolf charged at Cryoshock, using his left hand to push him back and into place while the right came in for a wicked gut-punch right into the unicorn's stomach.
The blow did worse to Cryoshock than it seemed the unicorn or Farkas expected. The stalliongrad guard had the wind knocked clean out of him, and crumpled onto the floor beneath the wolf. The unicorn heaved painfully as sharp, stabbing pains filled his insides. After managing a full breath, Cryoshock's body forced him into a coughing fit, producing several specks of crimson blood on the wooden floor.
"Oh shoot, I think I broke him," Farkas spoke, entering into a string of laughs. "What a lightweight. Can't believe you'd hang out with a chump like this." Silence came from Sky Shifter, who only maintained a glare at the male wolf.
"Cryo?" Sparky asked, remaining seated but looking concerned. "You okay?"

It came as quite a surprise when brute strength won over a Unicorn's rather weaker structure. The wolf had done him in quite fiercely. After hacking up a good few spoonfulls of blood, he proceeded to drool a little while he picked himself off the floor, "Ugh...", he didn't feel so well.. maybe too much to drink. In fact his world had been dazed for a short duration of time.
Cry hardly faulted Sky Shifter for not really helping him all that much, a fight was a fight. He had challenged the wolf fair and square and frankly got his plot handed to him... though he didn't exactly feel his time was over. Hearing that stupid dog laugh was what really woke him out of that painful trance. He cleared his throat one more time, letting that mutt bellow as loud and long as he could before abruptly heaving in. He had the resiliency to soak it up and clasp his hooves together. Pulling them back and swinging them around to hammer-strike the Winter wolf's hind-left ankle.
He had no intention of unless Farkas made leaps and bounds to try and kill him. Rupturing his lung- even non-fatally... though irrationally painful, seemed justified in trying to break his foot in one fell smash.
He'd grapple the male to the ground once he made his mark, though much more sluggish than before. Cryoshock would deal the hardest right hook to that smug face he could muster, "Ah'm not THAT cheap!"

By either chance or because he had noticed what Cryoshock was doing, Farkas had begun to pull his foot back right as Cryoshock's hooves came in. The blow still made contact, but closed in on the wolf's foot rather than his ankle. From the sound Farkas made as he took a hop backwards, Cryoshock had indeed caused some pain. It was not, however, the crippling blow the unicorn had been hoping for.
Farkas didn't waste his time on an insult before responding. After a moment of recovery, the wolf wound back his right leg and aimed a kick right at Cryoshock's face. This time, the unicorn did a better job of avoiding injury, managing to roll out of the way and pull himself back on all fours while Farkas recovered his stance.
Now the wolf and the unicorn were staring each other down, Farkas seeming to wait for what Cryoshock would do next. He kept seeming to tap and squirm his left foot, perhaps trying to shake off whatever pain Cryoshock had induced. The wolf certainly wasn't where Cryoshock had wanted him, so the question now was whether the unicorn would adjust his strategy.

Granted he still quite violently, and angrily swiped the blood away, "Ugh! Ya crappin Mutt.. That really bloody hurt!", still clasping his chest. But this fight wasn't over. Now that he'd made some sort of progress and shown he wasn't a pushover, "Still think I'm cheap aye?", he spat to the floor and stomped his hoof down onto the hard wood.
He and his companions... or at least Cryoshock himself, wouldn't be allowed in this tavern for quite some time perhaps. So he had to go out swinging as best as he could, His eyes glanced down at his opponents injured leg, then back to meet his eyes. Surprised he hadn't used any magic since this whole charade began. The Unicorn turned, grabbing one of the bar stools in both hooves.. in a spinning motion before whipping it at the dog with all his might.. perhaps some levitation infused with the cast.
He'd leap with his own bullet, rushing the dog before turning over and sliding at him, lashing his hind leg out at tge dog's opposite kneecap... Another attempt to keep his legs out of the fight. But he was prepared to knock the mutt flat on his rear if he could. His hoof lashing out in the powerful nature of any male horse... He wanted to put it out.. not shatter it.
