Unknown Temple Sighted on the Bay Lachance Peninsula -Closed

Rumors have been circulating that a strange temple-like structure has appeared in the Bay Lachance region, frightening the local hippocampi population. Much speculation has circulated around about who or what has built it. Ambassador Shoal has requested that a team be sent into the reported area and investigate the validity of these reports and rumors and report back; regrettably, the council at Royal Rocks has determined this to be a frivolous speculation and rumor-mongering and denied the request. Shoal, however, believes otherwise and has sent out a call for any able bodied griffons or ponies willing to investigate the matter out of concern for the region's hippocampi.

Quest: Inspect the rumors of a temple-like structure being erected in Bay Lachance.

This quest will take place after the end of the Blackmane plot-threat currently occurring in Canterlot but we will be taking volunteers now. Any players wishing to investigate the rumors, not knowing what risks or rewards will await them there, post with your character here.

[Gleam Lucre]

...I would like to volunteer Gleam as a potential escort for your expedition, assuming he's done with slayer training by then.

Also assuming he's not assigned someplace that doesn't let him go on expeditions. ^^;;

I would like to volunteer Dusk Wing. That is, if you are still taking volunteers. After all, a thief who can blend into darkness would be rather useful.

That reminds me, probably should've mentioned this before but this is basically why Lucky Charm is in the Griffon Empire to begin with. And if the expedition is full up, he'll just go on his own and meet them there. He's determined like that.

I would like to volunteer Julius. He has great hearing (Thanks to the Lynx) and fast reflexes (From the falcon). And he can usually see traps before he sets them off. These traits, of course, would make him an excellent foward scout.

I'm volunteer, as a good engineer I can be extremely useful during the travel. I also got a little scout-zeppelin who survived after BlackMane's defeat who can cover our travel for some miles and carry resupplies (but only if Red Charge confirms my OC's history, sill waiting).
