And follow her Watermark did. Why not? He had absolutely nothing more to do today. That's how useful the ability to split yourself into dozens of elemental golems who could work and communicate what needed to be done all over the village. Currently the Red Mages were only securing Hoofington, and were not preparing for any offensive actions. So apart from the regular business, there was not much to do except wait for the Diamond Dogs to fling themselves at the ice bubble.
"Bah, showing off is underrated. Nothing wrong with flaunting your natural talent now and again. If you're good at what you do, and can use it to entertain others, there's really no reason to hold back, is there?" The unicorn asked with his trademark grin. "That's what art is all about, sharing your gift with the world!"
The tattooed zebra-pony wondered where Kuruka was heading, but didn't ask, he did enjoy surprises after all. He only hoped it would be good.

Kuruka had yet to admit to herself that she was simply meandering. Although her legs felt considerably better since the Eclipse incident, exerting them the way she had while dancing reminded her that they weren't entirely healed yet. "I suppose you're right." She said in response to Watermark's opinion on showing off. "I should probably know that, especially after relearning how to fly."
Kuruka paused to examine a painting at one of the town center booths. The little town had become very busy in the past few days. Perhaps due to the ruin of Ponyville and the surge of refugees. She wondered vaguely how the Ranger fellow fared. She shuddered to think how she would feel had the ruin been Hoofington instead.
She glanced up at the ice shield above her. "You know, I'm rather glad I tried to stop you at the pyramid." She paused to see Watermark's reaction. "I might doubt the wisdom of an ice shield had I not tried to kick it in myself."
With a grin and a wink, she trotted to the next booth.

Watermark chuckled, "There is nothing wise about an ice wall. You know what's wise? Having a giant air-ship armada. That's why the Griffons don't get in messes like this one." Watermark replied with a grin, "Although I must say, you do look astonishingly cute when you're angry. At least until you start trying to kill ponies. That's a bit less cute." Watermark commented humorously.
He saw nothing he wanted in the booths, nor would he be able to spare the time to mess with anything if he bought it. He had a lot to do--- "AIRSHIP MODELS!" Watermark called out, pouncing at one of the booths that had sprung out in the middle of town. A refugee family from Fillydelphia had set it up and there were more than several airship models on display, big ones, small ones.
"Oh I want... I WANT!" Watermark cried, examining one of the "Firebird" The Griffon 6th Fleet's flagship. "How much? 30? 20? 25? 20? 40? 60? 42? 20 Final offer! Fine 20!" Watermark said, arguing with himself and then throwing the bits at the vendor, who seemed completely confused.
"It was only 15 bits..." He muttered, counting his coin.

Kuruka giggled and shook her head, trotting to catch up to her over-excited friend. "And what makes this particular model so desirable?"
She was rather glad for the distraction. She'd been on the verge of blushing at Watermark's earlier observation. His boldness, while sometimes a little much, was mostly refreshing. Kuruka thoroughly enjoyed his company and she vaguely wondered what her mother would think of him.
Kuruka stopped short. Whoa now, slow down. One hoof at a time...[/color]

"Why is this particular model so desirable? This ship, the Firebird, along with the Massive and The Mimic, have been around as far back as the Prism Wars, that's over a millennium ago! They've been retrofitted occasionally of course, but they're some of the oldest, most awesome airships in existence. Each of those alone has seen more battle than the other ships of their fleet combined!" Watermark rambled on, "The Firebird is of particular interest to me, because it was name after Admiral Firebird of the 6th fleet, who was an amazing griffon. You should read up about her one day."
He called up a pool of water into his hoof and plunged the ship into it, however, the ship instead of being submerged, disappeared out of existence. Possibly waterported to Watermark's home, where it would be safe.
"I already have The Golden Lion, The Massive, The Leviathan (new limited edition model!), The Dreadnaught and the Blizzard. Still need the White Eagle and The Mimic to complete my flagship collection. But The Mimic is SO RARE. All you can find are cheap inaccurate models. I want an original model, but there were only about 300 of those made." His face fell, "I actually already have a White Eagle on standby, but I want to get it last. If The Mimic stays the last on my collection I know I'll never find it." He explained, droning on and on.
"But anyway," He said with a perky grin, "Do you have any hobbies? I bet you do. I bet you like cooking, I just love cooking. I think you must love cooking. I have to give you my onion soup recipe, or my mushroom soup recipe. So what do you like to do other than that?"
