"If Eclipse was going to be such a massive problem that you new you would have little chance at containing, why didn't you attempt to contact the princess again when you were denied? You make it sound like this situation is desperate, and your leader is going to great lengths to remedy it, but why didn't he continue to request aid? If he badgered the government enough, someone would have come along to at least see what the matter was." Selenia shook her head. If all this was true, what hope did either faction have left? She came into this pyramid hoping for a battle. A good, fair battle, where she and her team would work together to take down Watermark and save the world. But it was all for naught.
If Watermark, er... Frostbite attacked, Selenia had no backup plan, now that her crystal was gone. Whitehoof seemed to have a plan, though, but Selenia had no idea how he knew about Frostbite's inability to see things in the air, but she didn't care, really. As long as it worked, she was willing to try it. "The air is thick and heavy with energy, and I can assume that Frostbite has us right where he wants us, so he probably has some method put in place to sense pegasi flying about. Be careful and keep your eyes open." She called to the team.
Whitehoof ordered the unicorns to open fire, so Selenia happily obliged. She looked at Frostbite's armor specifically. It was made of ice, presumably very strong and hard, but that also meant it would have to be brittle, and could be cracked and shattered just like the ice maze. Selenia had no other priceless crystals to simply throw away one after another, so she would have to resort to magic. Fire would be useless, as Frostbite obviously had ultimate control over water and ice, he could simply douse out her spell as he felt the heat of it come closer. So she checked that off. She went for her original kinetic spell she had used outside on the guards.
Selenia lowered her horn at Frostbite and collected the energy for a kinetic bolt as it formed at the tip of her horn. It glowed orange and singed the tips of her hair, like most magic did. She should probably get her hair cut shorter sometime. What an inconvenience. Before releasing the spell, she concentrated the globular bolt-like form into more of a point, when fired it would straighten out to be more of a javelin, flying faster and straighter than regularly casted magic.
Not one to keep a wonderful host like Frostbite waiting, she let the spell fly.

"Too late," Frostbite said, lifting his head up in anticipation and as he had predicted, they were all suddenly spirited away, finding themselves in the midst of the now combined Equestrian and Cult forces. Now they could only watch the events as they unfolded.
