((I think I get it. Selenia and Klepto are on a second story walkway looking over a hall via a short wall and arches that act as "windows". This hall below them that Hind Sight & co. were heading towards is the conference room/court room thingy and there's a large mural in it that Klepto and Selenia can't see all of. Facing the mural and away from the entrance of the building, Selenia and Klepto's walkway is on the right side of the room. There's a similar walkway on the left side of the room where Horizon and Zipfyre would have been heading towards. The walkways proceed past the hall/courtroom/conference room thingy to a walled-off two-story room that they can't see into. The three doors on the right and one door on the left are all up on the walkway where Klepto and Selenia are, and the door on the left (guarded by skeletons) presumably leads into this two-story room beyond the hall below.))

Nothing, the first door was just a simple guest room, furbished with a single bed and nightstand and nothing more other than a disturbing imprint of blood on the sheets. The room was small and contained absolutely nothing of interest.

Selenia groaned. Half due to the room being so underwhelming, and half due to her still aching muscles. "Well, this one is definitely a bust." Other than the bloodstains, everything was pretty standard, and even the bloodstains were starting to get boring. She pushed the door out of Klepto's grip, closing it. She winced as pain shot up her foreleg, the burns protesting extended movement beyond simple walking.
Selenia stomped out the pain, not giving it a single thought. "Judging by our luck, all these doors will probably be just like the other, give or take some new smear or rotting furniture. She huffed, her excitement for the trip all but gone. As of right now, her main priority was relaying their discoveries to the group leader and finding somepony to give her some rudimentary healing when the teams got back together.

Klepto looked into the room, seeing only a humble bed and nightstand. There was nothing out of the ordinary other than an imprint of blood on the bed sheets, but Klepto was starting to get the feeling that blood stains were what passed for 'ordinary' around here. Selenia soon closed the door in front of him, wincing a little as she did so.
"Well, they gotta be keepin' all the really good stuff somewhere. Tableware's nice and all, but how about the expensive jewelry and priceless antiques? Stuff no castle is complete without," he responded to Selenia. Klepto continued talking as he walked over to the next door on the right side of the walkway. "Who knows though? Maybe the others are findin' all that stuff while we got stuck with the servants' side of the castle. I mean, kitchen, pantry, that bedroom could of been for a butler or something." Reaching the door, he put his hoof on the handle. "Maybe this one'll be for the maid," he said to Selenia as he opened the door.

Again, the exact same room, with one difference, the furniture was dilapidated, and the imprint of long since cogialated blood was not on the floor or the bed, but rather on the ceiling. Signs indicated a struggle took place in the room, the walls were cracked as though something was repeatedly slammed into them, and a broken wooden shaft laid on the floor, the other half of it, appearing to be a spear, was stuck smack dab in the middle of the blood imprint on the ceiling. Selenia, being the diligent student she was, could see that a gravity spell was obviously used here, though it was so long ago that no trace of the magic remained in the air.

Klepto stepped into the room, taking a look at the cracked walls. "Yeesh, what happened here?" Noticing a broken shaft of wood on the floor, he looked around for its other half before spotting it. The other half of the spear was busy pinning another horse-shaped blood stain to the ceiling. "Oh, well that's lovely." The thief turned around and began walking back towards the doorway before continuing. "At least they were nice enough to keep the bed from getting dirty."
Klepto was about half-way out of the room before a thought popped into his head. He turned around, taking a moment to examine the broken spear as he pondered the idea. Having made up his mind, Klepto walked over to the end of the room, pushing the dresser away from the wall and towards the center. After brushing off whatever was resting on top, the thief hopped nimbly atop the dresser and jumped up towards the spear, grabbing it with his teeth. He landed on all fours on the floor in front of him, tucking the broken spear between the strap of his bag.
"I don't about you, but I didn't exactly bring any weapons on this trip," he said, walking back out of the room. "A little stabbing power might come in handy later on." Klepto wasn't really sure how useful a broken spear would prove to be, but it couldn't hurt to bring it along. Besides, he kind of liked it this way. It was less bulky and could be used more like a knife or something. At the very least, it would make a cool souvenir.

Selenia peered into the room with Klepto, and was as equally impressed as he was. More old moldy furniture, more blood, more junk. "it seems my hunch was correct. Absolutely unimpressive." The signs of a scuffle, namely the cracked walls, where somepony was probably viciously and repeatedly slammed against, as well as the spear stuck in the ceiling, probably used to impale somepony to the ceiling, kept her from lowering her guard.
Even if she was severely injured, she'd be as ready as her body would allow to dodge or retaliate should there be more traps, or Luna forbid any real enemies. She idly watched Klepto as he retrieved the spear head and nodded with approval. "I'm not really in fighting shape anymore, and knives always seem to come in handy."
She stepped back once Klepto was clear of the room and tried to close the door with her magic, but it would only shift a few inches before her horn sparked and the field dissipated. She grumbled out loud and once more strained against her seared flesh and aching muscles to grab the handle and close the door. "Alright... Next."

((I don't think it's really necessary to make another post just to have Klepto and Selenia open the next door (on the right side of the walkway). You can just assume they did so, Red. Unless there's a sprung booby trap or something, of course.))

After they inspected the third room, also with no real success, they could spot Horizon and Zipfyre on the corridor across from them, both looking worse than they were. Horizon's mane was singed completely off in some parts, and he was sporting some nasty burns to rival Selenia's.
"Hey!" Horizon called to them, "I think it's best if we regrouped, I don't think we're in much fighting shape by ourselves." He called over, "Also Hind Sight should have been down there by now, we better go see what's going on! See you there!" He called, backtracing his steps with Zipfyre in tow. Apparently some sort of silence spell was cast on her, as she couldn't seem to make a sound.

"Well at least we can say this place is consistent... consistently crappy," Klepto said, closing the door on the third room. It had, once again, been underwhelming. "I still think they're keepin' all the good stuff in one place, probably behind that gate we passed." He was about to continue on to the next door, the one 'guarded' by the two skeletons, but spotted something off to the side. Across the room on the opposite walkway, he could spot Zipfyre and Horizon. "Hey look," he said to Selenia. "Some of the others decided to join us."
Klepto listened as Horizon called over to their side of the room before responding. "Sounds good. I think we've had our fill of crummy rooms for the time being." He then turned back towards the staircase, going slow enough for Selenia to keep up with him. "Horizon looked kinda beat-up," he spoke as the two began heading down the stairs. "Wonder if he got caught in the same trap you did."

Selenia was about to voice her agreement to Klepto when he dropped everything and noticed Horizon and Zip across the chasm of the open central hall. Selenia registered the voice of another pony, probably Horizon, recommending that they regroup. That brightened her mood. Having the backup of two more ponies was a real plus. Fewer focus would be on her injured self if they entered combat.
Her stretched smile turned back into a frown when she learned that Horizon sported similar injuries to Selenia herself. Their ratio of injured to uninjured would remain the same. She wouldn't mind having someone else there to draw fire for her, but not when they were unable to defend themselves as effectively anymore. Klepto and Zip would have to do most of the heavy lifting from here on in. The team meant to head through the middle was still unheard of, though, so they would have to assume the worst until they discovered otherwise.
She slowly turned about and followed Klepto again. She smiled to herself when she noticed he deliberately slowed down so she could keep up. Staying together was definitely for the best, Klepto had the right idea.
