A.L.V.A
She smiled softly as the young griffon so graciously declined. She lightly laughed as his stomach had growled with anger as he declined the offer. "Well if you won't eat off my plate, how about I get you your own?" maybe the griffon would be more incline to accept if he had his own plate to eat off of. Since it sounded like that was the most of his problems.
"I wouldn't mind at all, in fact it would be an honor to pay for a soldiers plate" she had a feeling the griffon would respond possitively to being called a soldier, again. Teaching fledglings and young griffons gave her an idea on how to talk to them. "I would understand if you decline, you may have training to attend too... But if you had the time I have a booth open with a friend in the back corner... Would you join me?" she smiled at him. In her own heart she couldn't allow a young griffon to go without food.

Aleron waited patiently for Alva to return. In the meanwhile he began sketching a new design for a gem. As though he was hit by sudden inspiration, he began to measure the proportions in his mind, forming a three dimensional image of what he wanted to achieve.
He took out a thick notebook apparently made out of soft metal slabs and with a talon began to etch the design into them, working fluently and expertly. Taking into account the magical conductivity of the gem as well as comparing several types as he worked.
It wasn't a finished design yet, but the necklace sketch he was working on was getting quite solid, looking quite pretty even from a novice's point of view in jewelmaking.
Of course in gems it was all about picking the right metal and the right cut for every occasion. Since Aleron dabbled mostly in enchanted jewelry rather than just decoration, he had to memorize a lot of facts and formulas and incorporate them in his designs.
At least he was able to keep himself busy until Alva and her new companion returned.
