GRIFFIN CHARACTER TEMPLATE
Name: (Griffin names can be slightly human-ish, but must have meaning related to their personality i.e. Gilda – gilded, showy but empty inside)
Gender:
Age: (No need for exact age, Chick-Adult-Elder would suffice)
Species: Griffin, naturally
Lion Pelt Color: (includes wings)
Feather Color & Style: (Griffins come in many forms, the elitists of griffin society are lion-eagle hybrids, but griffins may be any combination of raptor and wild-feline {no domestics} I.E – Owl-Panther, Hawk-Leopard etc..)
Eye Color: (Limited to relevant bird eye colors only)
Residence: (Any griffin city\town, no Griffins live in Equestria for now)
Occupation:
Talents, Skills: Griffins are more versatile than ponies, they don't have one specific special talent. But can choose from a variety of talents centered around three main types of craft – Crafting (includes jewelery, invention, sculpting, construction, pottery etc…etc…), Design (includes designer, engineer, decorator, inventor, artist, etc…), Warfare (includes tournament fighter, gladiator, soldier, etc...) or Flier (includes Roc Handler, scout, professional flier, racer, messenger, pilot, etc...) (I) There can only be ONE main craft. For example, a griffin can only have talents regarding their craft. No Fliers with jewelry skills for example.
Likes:
Dislikes: Magic – griffins have no ability to use magic, and in fact react badly to anything magical. The simplest of spells can make a griffin queasy, and they cannot wield magical artifacts larger than bracelets\necklaces\medallions\rings. Prolonged exposure to magic, or high degree magic has a very bad effect on griffins.

HIPPOCAMPI TEMPLATE
Name: (Hippocampi names are very similar to pony names, but usually the second part of their name relates to water or sea)
Gender:
Age: (No need for exact age, Spawn-Adult-Elder would suffice)
Species: Hippocampi are divided into 3 different species, the Shark Hippocampi (equivalent of Pegasi), the Octopus Hippocampi (equivalent of earth ponies) and the Cetacean Hippocampi (Equivalent to unicorns) Cetaceans can use water magic.
Octocampi are in charge of underwater wildlife and maintaining the sea bottom
Sharcampi are in charge of maintaining underwater currents as well as topside waves and making sure they do not change or cause harm.
Cetacampi are in charge of maintaining the magic protecting their cities from the underwater pressure, as well as making sure the northern icebergs remain in their designated areas, lest they melt and cause an imbalance.
Scale Color: (underwater form)
Pelt Color: (Out of water form) Mane Color & Style: (hippocampi manes share the same range of colors as seaweed, including red (dark to pinkish), green (bright to dark), and brown (yellowish to pale))
Eye Color: (Common colors are green, blue and more rarely yellow)
Residence: (Any hippocampi city\town)
Occupation:
Talents, Skills: Hippocampi, like regular ponies have cutie marks, but their special talents relate ONLY to their underwater form. Even the most agile hippocampi outside of water is a clumsy mess. Their talents are GREATLY affected by their patron traits - (Leviathan for cetaceans, Megalodon for sharks and Kraken for octopi) BE SURE TO READ ABOUT THEIR PATRONS.
Likes:
Dislikes: Being out of water: Hippocampi simply have a very hard time out of water, they become clumsy, fatigued and much less capable. Cetaceans lose their magic when not immersed in water.

DIAMOND DOG TEMPLATE
Name: (Diamond Dog names are what you'd usually call pet dogs)
Gender:
Age: (No need for exact age, Pup-Adult-Elder would suffice)
Species: (Whichever dog species the character is)
Pelt Color:
Eye Color: (Limited to relevant dog eye colors only)
Pack: (Any Diamond Dog pack, no Diamond Dogs live in Equestria for now)
Occupation:
Talents, Skills: Diamond Dogs are divided into four main castes –
Warrior Caste – deals with the art of warfare, whether for defending the pack, or attacking an enemy pack (Usually consisted by wolfhounds, guard dogs mastiffs etc..)
Retriever Caste – Deals with the prospecting and gathering of gems (made out of any type of dog really)
Gemworker Caste – Deals with magical gems and their cleaning, cutting, and use in enchanting items.
Diamond Dogs are very versatile, but their skills are restricted to their castes. (I.E. Warriors can be good fighters, and good tunnelers, but do not know the secrets of gem-making)
Likes:
Dislikes: Ponies and Griffins – Diamond Dogs are bitter with both ponies and griffins, after the death of Silverback, the Diamond Dog nation fell back into packs and were thus never accepted into the Pony-Griffin Alliance, and driven back into their underground tunnels.
Dragons – Though Dragons created the Diamond Dogs, they were also their slavers until the arrival of Silverback. Ever since then there has been fierce hatred between Diamond Dogs and Dragons, to the point of attacking on sight.
The exception to this is the Flame Bearers, who have been contracted by a dragon to act as their servant and in return they become able to channel the dragon's magic.

SUBTYPES -
As you know several of these species have subtypes! For example -
Diamond Dog subtypes -
Winter Wolves - the vicious wolves of the Northern Wastes, turned sentient by the dragons to serve as their slaves. The Winter Wolves however, unlike Diamond Dogs could not be tamed, and instead became contracted mercenaries. Winter Wolves are few and exist in small packs, but are very battle ready and well equipped (some even with dragon enchanted weapons or armored). They have a fierce liking of cold climates and are known far and wide for their combat prowess.
Gnolls - From the Zebra continent hail the Gnolls, like the Winter Wolves and Diamond Dogs they were made to be subservient to the dragons on the Zebra territories, they exist in large but very close packs, being very careful and cowardly in their tactics, often preferring to gang up on an opponent in great numbers than risking their health in a small group. Gnolls and Winter Wolves are nearly polar opposites, and the Winter Wolves have much more disdain for them than the "lap dogs" of Equestria.
